Airdrop over Afghanistan
A bullet scarred passenger window on an armored truck serves as a reminder of the dangers that face U.S. Marines who convoy in Afghanistan. The need for Marines to conduct resupply missions has not been eliminated but has been reduced because the U.S. Air Force can air drop critical supplies to remote outposts.
