U.S. Air Force Master Sgt. Johnny Pullen, 340th Expeditionary Aerial Refueling Squadron KC-135R Stratotanker boom operator, refuels a U.S. Navy F/A-18 Dec. 29, 2012, in Southwest Asia. The Stratotanker enhances the Air Force's capability to accomplish its primary mission of global reach by eliminating the need for tactical aircraft to return to base for fuel.
